Kendall returned to the Hansen family tonight fully prepared to tear down her relationship with them, no longer tolerating their attitude and ready to unleash all the frustration she had endured.
So, she put all her strength into every punch and every slap.
Of course, Luca and Luke weren’t innocent.
Not to mention their past mockery of Kendall, today alone, her own brothers didn’t go see her in the hospital after she had been unconscious for a month. On her first day out of the hospital, they complained about her and even tried to buy her off to kick her out of the Hansen family!
If the system hadn’t given Kendall more life, she would have been a terminal patient with nothing.
Instead of receiving any care from her family, she had to endure countless grievances and indifference!
Kendall kept a cold face, holding on to Luca as she swung her arm, giving him two more hard slaps.
Diana’s eyes were red with anger at the sight. When Luca had said he was going to hit Kendall, she sat on the sofa, not moving, and not voicing any opinion. Now that things weren’t going as she had planned, and Luca and Luke were being unilaterally beaten by Kendall, how could she stay seated?
She had been kicked into the pool by Kendall that afternoon, so she didn’t dare go up and stop her herself. Instead, she reached over and pushed Liam, who was sitting beside her. “What’s wrong with you?! Can’t you see your two brothers are being beaten by Kendall?! How can you just sit there and watch? Go help them!”
Liam felt mother was being unfair to him. While he didn’t like Kendall, he still had brotherly love for the twins he grew up with. When Kendall was beating Luke, Liam was already thinking about getting up to teach her a lesson, but Luca beat him to it. Seeing Luca get up to teach Kendall a lesson, Liam stayed on the sofa. But then, not only did Luca fail, he was the one who got taught a lesson by Kendall instead?
Luca played basketball and, at nineteen, was already nearly six feet tall. Kendall was only five-foot-five. How could she restrain Luca? It was unbelievable!
Liam suddenly remembered when Kendall kicked all of them into the pool that afternoon. No normal person has that much strength! He certainly couldn’t do it! Liam suddenly felt like Kendall was a bit strange. But after what mother said, there was no way he could just sit on the sofa.
He frowned and looked Kendall up and down. Although she was a bit thinner from being in the hospital, it was indeed Kendall.
“What the hell is wrong with you? You go to the hospital and come out so violent… and so good at fighting…” Liam said as he walked toward Kendall.
But he didn’t get to finish his sentence before Kendall hit him with a hard punch.
His left eye felt a burning pain. Liam became furious and swore. “You bitch…” Before he could finish, Kendall’s other fist flew at him. Liam couldn’t dodge, and Kendall immediately gave him a black eye.
A few minutes later, Kendall stood over the three scumbags at her feet and swept her gaze over Mia and her parents.
“So? Do you want to try?”
Jake and Diana were in their forties and fifties. If the three Hansen brothers couldn’t beat her, there was no way they could either. And there was no need to even mention Mia. She had always been the pampered Miss Hansen.
Even though her fake identity was exposed not long ago, Mia always presented herself as frail and weak. Fighting was something Mia had never considered.
Not to mention, she was the closest to Kendall and had just watched the three Hansen brothers who had always doted on her get beaten down by Kendall.
Recalling how Kendall had dragged her out that afternoon, Mia’s eyes slowly filled with a hint of wariness and fear.
Mia bit her lip, afraid that Kendall would drag her out and kick her into the pool again like she did that afternoon. Kendall was absolutely insane!
Jake was still the one in charge of the Hansen family. He didn’t want to admit that for a moment, he had been intimidated by the daughter he had always looked down on.
With a somber face, he said, “What do you want?”
“What do I want?” Kendall laughed at his words. The Hansen family had never once reflected on their actions or realized how much their condescending attitude had hurt her. But it didn’t matter.
Kendall cared before, but she didn’t now.
She couldn’t make the Hansen family like her, but she could make them all hate her.
“I want to leave this family. Our relationship… is like this…” Kendall raised her hand and slammed the water bottle in her hand down. The marble tabletop in front of Jake and Diana crashed with a loud bang, collapsing and shattering into countless pieces.
